Baseball Game Preview: Tri-Cities Bulldogs vs. Shiloh Generals

For the second straight game, Tri-Cities will face off against Shiloh. The Bulldogs will square off against the Generals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tri-Cities is looking for their season's first victory.

Tri-Cities lost 13-3 to Shiloh on Wednesday.

For Shiloh's part, Mark (MJ) Miller and Nathan Miller made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Miller pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Nathan tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. At the plate, Miller went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Nathan scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. That triple marked the first that Mark (MJ) hit this season.

In other batting news, Shiloh let Jaylen Seabrooks and Gavin Anderson run wild. Seabrooks went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double, while Anderson went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Seabrooks is becoming a predictor of Shiloh's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 3-16 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Nicholas Johnson, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Shiloh was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. The last time their batting average was this high was back in February of 2024.

Tri-Cities' loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Shiloh, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-16.
