Baseball Game Preview: Skipstone Academy Warriors vs. Pinecrest Academy Paladins

The Skipstone Academy Warriors will head out to take on the Pinecrest Academy Paladins at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Skipstone Academy is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Skipstone Academy's offense. They came up short against Lafayette Christian on Tuesday, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly ten runs.

Meanwhile, Pinecrest Academy fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Covenant Christian Academy on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 3-2. The contest marked the Paladins' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Pinecrest Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mathew Sime, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Pinecrest Academy moved to 15-2 with that loss, which also ended their eight-game winning streak. As for Skipstone Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.
