Soccer Game Preview: Norton vs. Springfield

The Norton Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Springfield Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Norton turned things around against Coventry on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Comets with a sharp 10-2 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 6-0.

Meanwhile, Springfield kept a clean sheet against Woodridge on Tuesday. They blew past the Bulldogs 4-0. It was an even better day for Seth Nicholson as he scored three goals for his team.

Springfield's victory bumped their record up to 8-4-1. As for Norton, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-11.
