Softball Recap: Windsor Finds Playoff Glory Versus Roosevelt

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Windsor had no problem doing just that on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Roosevelt Roughriders a 4-0 shutout. The victory was nothing new for the Wizards as they're now sitting on three straight.

Windsor's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gabriela Wagner, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Camryn Cobb was another, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Windsor hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least two batters in three consecutive contests.

Windsor's record is now 24-2. As for Roosevelt, their loss dropped their record down to 17-10.

As of now, neither Windsor nor the Roughriders have any future games scheduled.
