Soccer Recap: Norcross Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Norcross proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by four) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Jefferson Dragons 4-3. While the Blue Devils didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those five matches. As for Jefferson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Norcross wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Hoover on the 1st. As for Jefferson, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-1 victory against Meadowcreek on the 28th.
