Softball Recap: Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Takes a Loss

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder was the 9-5 winner over Cass when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder fell 10-6 to Cass on Tuesday.

Arienne Summers and Rachel Purvis did some serious damage despite the final result: Summers went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI, while Purvis went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one triple. Avah Ruwe was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Cass, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder will take on Fort Calhoun at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
