Soccer Game Preview: Burton vs. O'Connell

The Burton Pumas will face off against the O'Connell Boilermakers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. O'Connell took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Burton, who comes in off a win.

Burton took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Marshall, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Pumas sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Phoenix on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Burton.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten goals the game before, O'Connell was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Galileo.

O'Connell now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Burton, their win bumped their record up to 4-1-1.

Everything went Burton's way against O'Connell in their previous matchup back in January, as Burton made off with a 5-2 victory. Will the Pumas repeat their success, or do the Boilermakers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
