Softball Recap: Duchesne/Roncalli Triumphs

Duchesne/Roncalli's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Seward Bluejays by a score of 7-4.

The team relied heavily on Myla Downing, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Evans, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Duchesne/Roncalli's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Seward, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Duchesne/Roncalli will challenge Burke at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Seward, they are taking a road trip to square off against York at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dukes will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bluejays surely won't give up without a fight.
