Baseball Recap: Wallington Comes Up Short

Wallington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Saddle Brook Falcons, falling 11-1. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Wallington saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karol Pisula, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Wallington's defeat dropped their record down to 16-14-1. As for Saddle Brook, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-8.

Coming up, Wallington will face off against Wallkill Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Saddle Brook, they will head out to take on Lakeland Regional at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
