Softball Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short

Lisbon suffered their biggest loss since June 14th on Friday. They lost 14-5 to the Pleasant Valley Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in July of 2017.

Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Pleasant Valley, they pushed their record up to 22-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Lisbon has already played their next match (against Mid-Prairie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Pleasant Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-1 defeat against Dallas Center-Grimes on the 28th.
