Softball Recap: Gilman City Hawks vs. Gallatin Bulldogs

Gilman City lost to Gallatin back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Hawks came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 6-1.

Tenley Griffith was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Alli Burke was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Kayleece Puls, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.
