Baseball Recap: Head-Royce Comes Up Short

Head-Royce and El Cerrito squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Head-Royce had to settle for second. They fell 3-0 to the Gauchos. The Jayhawks have struggled against the Gauchos recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Head-Royce's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for El Cerrito, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.

Head-Royce does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for El Cerrito, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-6 loss against Las Lomas on the 22nd.
