Soccer Recap: El Dorado Takes a Loss

El Dorado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Galt Warriors. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

El Dorado's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Galt, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. El Dorado will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Liberty Ranch at 6:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Liberty Ranch will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something El Dorado surely won't give up without a fight. Galt will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Laguna Creek at 10:00 a.m. on January 4, 2025.
