Softball Recap: Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Takes a Loss

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder had lost five straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 17-13 to make it six. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yutan-Mead Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Yutan-Mead this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-0 loss on Friday.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kinley Osborn, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

As for Yutan-Mead, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 24-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games.

On Yutan-Mead's side, Addi Jones was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Kylie Woster, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

As of now, neither Logan View/Scribner-Snyder nor Yutan-Mead have any future games scheduled.
