Soccer Recap: Northgate Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the Northgate Broncos didn't have quite enough to beat the Miramonte Matadors and fell 2-1.

Northgate's goal came courtesy of Leah Cooper, who's now up to seven this season.

Northgate's loss dropped their record down to 7-3-4. As for Miramonte, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northgate will welcome Campolindo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northgate's last seven matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Miramonte, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Acalanes at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
