Wheeler County came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Montgomery County Eagles get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Wheeler County's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Montgomery County, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Wheeler County will square off against West Laurens at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Montgomery County, they will challenge Jenkins County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
