Baseball Recap: Brewer Takes a Loss

Brewer was the 9-4 winner over Camden Hills when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Witches took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Windjammers on Wednesday. The Witches just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Brewer's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Camden Hills, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brewer will host Edward Little at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Eddies have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.91 runs per game on average), something the Witches will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Camden Hills, they will welcome Skowhegan at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
