Soccer Recap: Jewish Community's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

After flying high against California Crosspoint two weeks ago, Jewish Community came back down to earth. Jewish Community took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Summit K2 Dragons on Thursday. Jewish Community were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Summit K2 earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Romi Karson and Raizel Mahgel-Friedman scored both of Jewish Community's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Jewish Community fell to 6-1. As for Summit K2, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jewish Community will venture away from home to square off against Holy Names at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Summit K2, they will challenge Summit Tamalpais at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Summit K2 will need to watch out since Summit Tamalpais has now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season.
