Basketball Recap: San Jacinto Valley Academy Comes Up Short

San Jacinto Valley Academy was the 0-0 winner over San Jacinto Leadership Academy when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves took a 48-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Jacinto Leadership Academy Lions on Friday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, San Jacinto Valley Academy still got an impressive performance from Kaahliyah Lacy, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 13 rebounds. Lacy continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

San Jacinto Valley Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for San Jacinto Leadership Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

San Jacinto Valley Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-34 victory against Nuview Bridge on the 21st. San Jacinto Leadership Academy has also already played their next matchup, a 43-23 defeat against Desert Christian Academy on the 22nd.
