William Byrd won the last time they faced Staunton River and things went their way on Friday too. The Terriers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Golden Eagles, sneaking past 5-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Terriers.

Tyler Chambers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, William Byrd's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kylind Spence, who went 2-for-3 with one run. That's the most hits Spence has posted since back in April.
