Baseball Recap: Nashville Comes Up Short

Nashville and Brookland squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Nashville had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 9-8. The Scrappers haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Nashville's loss dropped their record down to 16-11-1. As for Brookland, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Nashville nor Brookland have any future games scheduled.
