Soccer Game Preview: American vs. Clayton Valley Charter

The American Eagles will challenge the Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. American knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Clayton Valley Charter likes a good challenge.

American's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Mission San Jose as American made off with a 10-0 win. It was an even better day for Abigail Peterman as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Clayton Valley Charter and Campolindo finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

American has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5-1 record this season.
