La Cueva waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Manzano Monarchs a 7-0 shutout. Considering La Cueva have won ten matchups by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Manzano from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Winston Starr led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

La Cueva's victory bumped their record up to 17-1-2. As for Manzano, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
