Football Game Preview: Questa Wildcats vs. Menaul Panthers

Questa is 0-3 against Menaul since October of 2022 but things could change on Saturday. The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 1:00 p.m. Menaul took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Questa, who comes in off a win.

Questa is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 68-14 victory over Cloudcroft. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wildcats needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Meanwhile, Menaul faced Escalante in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Panthers were outmatched by the Lobos and fell 42-0. Having soared to a lofty 52 points in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Questa's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-3. As for Menaul, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 4-3.
