Volleyball Game Preview: Gramercy Christian Warriors vs. New Bern Bears

The Gramercy Christian Warriors will challenge the New Bern Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Gramercy Christian has seven straight wins, New Bern has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Gramercy Christian earned a 3-1 victory over Pamlico Christian Academy.

Gramercy Christian was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-10, 20-25, 25-13.

Meanwhile, New Bern came up short against Christ the King on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Gramercy Christian pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for New Bern, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Gramercy Christian beat New Bern 3-1 when the teams last played back in March. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
