Soccer Recap: Antelope Valley Comes Up Short

Antelope Valley lost against Quartz Hill back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Antelope Valley Antelopes lost 4-0 to the Quartz Hill Royals. While losing is never fun, the Antelopes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 685th, while the Royals are ranked 108th).

Antelope Valley now has a losing record at 7-8-1. As for Quartz Hill, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antelope Valley will head out to take on Lancaster at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Antelope Valley's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Quartz Hill, they will head out on the road to challenge Littlerock at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Quartz Hill's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last seven games.
