Soccer Recap: Rutland Triumphs + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Champlain Valley Union, Rutland was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Spaulding Crimson Tide a 12-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what Rutland needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

The win got Rutland back to even at 1-1.

Rutland and Spaulding will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Raiders will challenge rival Burr & Burton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Spaulding is set to square off against their familiar foe Lyndon Institute at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
