Basketball Game Preview: Twin Valley Bible Academy Pioneers vs. Red Lion Christian Swordsmen

The Twin Valley Bible Academy Pioneers are headed away from home for the first time to face off against the Red Lion Christian Swordsmen at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Twin Valley Bible Academy is headed out to face Red Lion Christian after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Twin Valley Bible Academy blew past Red Lion Christian 41-20 back in January. The Pioneers pushed the score to 35-11 by the end of the third, a deficit the Swordsmen cut but never quite recovered from.

Despite the defeat, Red Lion Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cora Jenkins posted four points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Twin Valley Bible Academy took their victory against Red Lion Christian when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 41-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for Twin Valley Bible Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
