Soccer Recap: Sylmar Comes Up Short

Sylmar was the 6-0 winner over Reseda when they last played one another back in February of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans came up short against the Regents on Wednesday, falling 4-0. Sylmar have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Sylmar's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Reseda, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4-1.

Looking ahead, Sylmar will welcome Panorama at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Sylmar will be up against Panorama's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.2 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Reseda, they will head out on the road to square off against San Fernando at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
