Archer came out on top against Grovetown on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Tigers walked away with an 8-5 win over the Warriors. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Warriors on Wednesday, they had to take a 5-3 defeat.

Archer's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Grovetown, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-5.

Archer and Grovetown should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Tigers (ranked 37th) will meet Parkview (ranked 178th) at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Grovetown will take on Newton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (32 vs. 148).
