Wimberley had won 24 straight games and Skylar Herring did her part to make it 25 on Friday. The Texans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fredericksburg Billies thanks in part to Herring, who had 12 digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Wimberley's got stronger as the match went on, holding Fredericksburg to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-11.

Wimberley's win bumped their record up to 39-5. As for Fredericksburg, they now have a losing record of 17-18.
