Baseball Recap: Hinsdale Central Comes Up Short

Hinsdale Central fell victim to Elba and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Lancers, falling 11-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 14-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Hinsdale Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Jones, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Hinsdale Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Elba, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Hinsdale Central nor Elba have any future games scheduled.
