Baseball Game Preview: Linden-McKinley Panthers vs. Columbus International Lions

The Linden-McKinley Panthers will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Columbus International Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Linden-McKinley is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They lost 15-0 to Mifflin on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Punchers: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Columbus International was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Eastmoor Academy, falling 24-2.

Everything went Linden-McKinley's way against Columbus International when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Linden-McKinley made off with an 18-3 win.
