Baseball Recap: Norcross Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Norcross's offense. They came up short against the North Gwinnett Bulldogs on Wednesday, falling 11-0. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost five in a row.

Norcross' defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for North Gwinnett, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with the win, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norcross will host Brookwood at 5:55 p.m. on Thursday. Brookwood will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Norcross surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Gwinnett, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bethlehem Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bethlehem Christian Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so North Gwinnett's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
