Gospel Light Christian waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 59-54 W against the Surry HomeSchool Runnin' Patriots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-47 last Friday.

Despite the loss, Surry HomeSchool still got an impressive performance from Hayden Williams, who posted 24 points. Another player making a difference was Heath Clark, who put up eight points.

Gospel Light Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Surry HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gospel Light Christian will host Vandalia Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Surry HomeSchool, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Phoenix Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
