The Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines will venture away from home to take on the Long County Blue Tide at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Woodville-Tompkins is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.

Woodville-Tompkins barely beat New Hampstead the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Woodville-Tompkins was the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over New Hampstead on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Phoenix: they've now won five in a row.

Chris Varner and Erick Ortega scored all five of Woodville-Tompkins' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, Long County didn't have quite enough to beat Calvary Day on Thursday and fell 4-3. The Blue Tide have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Long County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Woodville-Tompkins, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
