Softball Recap: Muskogee Comes Up Short

After flying high against Union on Thursday, Muskogee came back down to earth. The Roughers lost 12-2 to the Southmoore SaberCats on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Roughers have suffered since August 23rd.

Muskogee now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Southmoore, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.

Coming up, Muskogee will head out to face off against Piedmont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Roughers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Southmoore, they will face off against Jenks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
