Jefferson had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed past the Washington Warriors to the tune of 42-12 on Thursday. The Cavaliers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 28 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Jefferson's fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.2 points on average over those games. As for Washington, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will face off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on November 7. The Cavaliers will need to watch out since the Patriots have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests. Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
