Baseball Game Preview: Lincoln Park Lions vs. Von Steuben Panthers

Lincoln Park hasn't had much luck against Von Steuben recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Lions will be playing at home against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. The last three games Lincoln Park has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Lincoln Park is headed into the match having just posted their closest victory since May 14, 2024 on Saturday. They skirted past Jones 7-6.

Meanwhile, Von Steuben came up short against Grayslake Central on Saturday and fell 7-2.

Von Steuben saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian Kobayashi, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Von Steuben's loss dropped their record down to 9-9-2. As for Lincoln Park, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
