Meanwhile, Sage Hill faced Sierra Canyon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. Sage Hill took a blow against Sierra Canyon, falling 69-33. The Lightning have struggled against the Trailblazers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Sage Hill's loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Bishop Montgomery, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-5.
