Soccer Game Preview: Kennedy vs. Antelope

The Kennedy Cougars will face off against the Antelope Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kennedy will be strutting in after a victory while Antelope will be coming in after a loss.

Kennedy is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Grant a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Meanwhile, Antelope didn't have quite enough to beat McClatchy on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: the Titans' Jayda Smith and the Lions' Nataly Barraza and Mya Alva were all carded.

The win got Kennedy back to even at 4-4-4. As for Antelope, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
