Baseball Game Preview: Harlem Huskies vs. Hononegah Indians

Harlem hasn't had much luck against Hononegah recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Huskies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Indians at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Harlem took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Freeport, sneaking past 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Huskies have posted since April 23rd.

Meanwhile, Hononegah waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Bucs as they made off with an 11-2 win. Considering the Indians have won 13 games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Harlem's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-14. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Hononegah, their victory bumped their record up to 19-15.
