Soccer Recap: Tucker Comes Up Short

Tucker managed to keep up with Pace Academy until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Tigers came up short against the Knights, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Tucker can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while Pace Academy are ranked 31st).

Tucker's goal came courtesy of Jacob Haynes, who's now up to two this season.

Tucker's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Pace Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Tucker will face off against Lakeside at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pace Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
