Football Game Preview: Alamosa Mean Moose vs. Salida Spartans + How To Watch

The Alamosa Mean Moose will challenge the Salida Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Alamosa knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Salida likes a good challenge.

Salida's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: Alamosa hadn't allowed a single point the last three times they've hit the field. The Mean Moose blew past Montezuma-Cortez 40-0 on Friday. Considering the Mean Moose have won four games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Brennon Maez was a one-man wrecking crew as he picked up 143 receiving yards and one TD. Alamosa is undefeated when Maez posts 80 or more receiving yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Salida gave up the first points on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They pulled ahead with a 10-9 photo finish over Bayfield.

Salida's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Alamosa, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
