Soccer Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short

After flying high against Fort Madison on Tuesday, Lisbon came back down to earth. The Lions came up short against the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs on Thursday, falling 8-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Lisbon haven't been shut out since back in April.

Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5-4. As for Dallas Center-Grimes, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-3-3.

Lisbon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dallas Center-Grimes, they have already played their next game, an 8-0 victory against Mt. Vernon on the 29th.
