While Holcomb put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Ulysses. The Longhorns blew past the Tigers 32-0. The Longhorns haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Chasyn Cosner had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 246 yards and three TDs on only 13 carries. Those 246 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Cooper Cranston was another key player, rushing for 111 yards and one score on only 12 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Holcomb was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 395 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ulysses only rushed for 135.

Holcomb's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Ulysses, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Holcomb wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 34-14 win against Goodland on the 26th. As for Ulysses, they have also already played their next contest, a 44-7 loss against Scott on the 26th.
