Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Benicia). They enjoyed a cozy 70-54 victory over the Ygnacio Valley Wolves on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won three in a row.

Despite the loss, Ygnacio Valley still got an impressive performance from Sa'Rye Starks, who almost dropped a double-double with 41 points and nine steals. That was a full 75.9% of Ygnacio Valley's points, marking the 16th time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Te'Aujanae Hill, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 17 boards.

Benicia's victory bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Ygnacio Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Benicia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 71-44 win against Berean Christian on the 11th. Ygnacio Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
