Softball Recap: Asher Comes Up Short

Asher fell victim to Calera and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 on Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Asher and nudges their season record down to 18-8. As for Calera, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5.

Asher has already played their next contest, a 9-3 victory against Stonewall on the 20th. Calera does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
