Softball Recap: Vidalia Heritage Academy Drops Season-High Score on Twiggs Academy

Vidalia Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Twiggs Academy Trojans. On the bright side, the three- run performance marked the Eagles' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Allison McLain made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those runs marked the first that she has scored this season. Sarah Grace Todd was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Vidalia Heritage Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Twiggs Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.
