Baseball Recap: Charlton County Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Charlton County can now relate to. They lost 11-2 to the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs on Thursday. The Indians have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Charlton County's defeat dropped their record down to 30-8. As for Emanuel County Institute, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 26-12.

Charlton County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Emanuel County Institute, they will take on Lanier County at 11:00 a.m. on the 22nd. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Emanuel County Institute 3.6, Lanier County 1.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
